A word can continue the chain without being among your three cards

After tapa, an example word such as pato links through pa. Knowing a word exists does not establish that it is among the cards visible in a game. This distinction helps a family understand Alicia’s mode without promising a particular hand.

What family mode describes

The Alicia facts describe a cooperative ten-link chain. Peque chooses among three picture-and-syllable cards and Adulto among six text cards. After an adult success, Peque checks the link. Words remain visible and audio is optional.

Look at the current word’s ending and compare it with the beginnings of the displayed options. An adult can ask “Which one starts with the syllable we need?” without choosing for the child.

A possible word is not a guaranteed card

In our invented example, ta-pa → pa-to retains pa. Perro, pe-rro, and mesa, me-sa, do not start with that syllable. These Spanish words explain the comparison; they are not an observed hand or a guarantee that Alicia contains them. Keep them in Spanish because translation changes the links.

The public documentation consulted does not specify how the app handles a hand without a valid link. We do not assume it adds cards, changes rules or that the situation occurs; actual behaviour would need checking once the game is available.

In Rally, Peque proposes a word and Alicia continues the chain. That differs from the family card arrangement; do not automatically transfer cards from one mode to the other.

Alicia is in development for Android with no public download yet. Check the project for its status. The cover is an AI-generated illustration, not a game screen. The example does not assess a child or promise educational outcomes.
