Alicia’s answer becomes your starting point
In Rally with Alicia, the child chooses a word and Alicia replies with another word continuing the chain. The next choice continues from Alicia’s answer, rather than the child’s earlier word. Looking at the new word avoids solving a link that is already behind you.
The product facts describe this exchange without restarting the chain halfway through. Alicia remains in development for Android, with no public download or announced date. The following example explains the rule; it is not recorded gameplay.
Luna, nabo… where do you continue?
Keep the example words in Spanish: translating them changes the syllables. This sequence was written for the guide, not claimed as a list of words offered by the app.
| Moment in the example | Word | Starting syllable needed next |
|---|---|---|
| Child’s word | lu-na | na |
| Illustrative Alicia answer | na-bo | bo |
| Child’s next word | bo-ta | ta |
| Illustrative Alicia answer | ta-za | za |
After luna → nabo, look for a word beginning with «bo». Bota meets that condition in our example. Choosing nata because it begins with «na» would repeat the link already answered: nabo ends with «bo», not «na».
You do not need to recall the whole chain from memory for this check. Start with the word that has just become visible. Say its ending, compare the new option’s beginning and look again when another answer arrives.
If you use the old reference, return to the latest link
One way to explain the confusion is: “We were looking at luna; now Alicia has said nabo. How does nabo end?” This is suggested wording to accompany the example, not a message the app promises to display or a required correction technique.
The product is designed without lives, scores or timers, with optional audio and visible words. The current game presentation says an answer that does not fit can be tried again immediately, without a penalty. There is no need to turn this pause into a race or restart the whole explanation yourself.
Rally and family mode have different roles
Rally alternates with Alicia. Family mode offers a cooperative ten-link chain with Child and Adult roles. Do not transfer its cards or checking turn automatically to Rally. The Alicia overview explains both modes.
RatoLibre and the Castilla y León word-chain resource were consulted on 26 October 2026 as other approaches. Their particular rules are not Alicia rules. For this turn, keep one question in mind: which word has just become the current one?
