If two adults accompany one child, agree who takes the Adult role before starting. Alicia’s published family-mode proposal has two roles: Child and Adult. Three people looking at the screen do not create a third in-game turn.
You can organize the support without changing that proposal: one adult handles Adult choices, while the other listens, reads when asked or helps examine a link. This is our family suggestion, rather than an advertised three-player option.
Agree who does what
The product facts describe a cooperative chain of ten links. The child chooses among three illustrated cards with syllables; the adult has six text cards. After a correct adult choice, the child checks the syllable connection.
Before playing, you might say: “I’ll handle the Adult cards today; you can read with us if we ask.” That keeps the other adult from treating their presence as another selection the game expects.
You do not need a separate turn for every person sitting together. Do not assume separate profiles, participant scores or a record of who helped: those are not part of the published proposal.
An example of accompanying play
Consider the Spanish chain mesa → sapo → pozo: me-sa links with sa-po, then sa-po with po-zo. This is our example, not a promise that those cards appear in a particular game.
After the Adult has chosen a continuation, the accompanying person could ask “which syllable repeats?” and let the child point. Immediately giving the answer would do that checking for them. If the child wants help, read both words together and listen to the connection again.
Audio is optional and the words remain visible. Choose the support that works at that moment; this is neither a race nor a reading assessment.
Changing helpers without inventing features
If the other adult wants that role in another session, agree between yourselves. This guide does not describe a handover button or a way to add participants. Follow the options the real version provides.
Alicia is in development for Android and has no public download yet. See its product facts and Rally-versus-family guide. We keep the example words in Spanish: translating them breaks the syllable links.
